Empowering Our People
Creating a rewarding environment for our people is one of the core values that define our business. SOS Group ensures that our people have a safe and empowering place of work (physically, mentally, and socially), with adequate equipment, training, consultation, and supervision.
We actively encourage and provide personal development opportunities for employees who wish to expand their skills. Our aim is to cultivate an open, supportive environment where our people can succeed. While the cleaning industry often faces high turnover rates, SOS Group’s focus on career progression enables us to retain valuable talent and build lasting careers within our team.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing
We are committed to maintaining a strong strategy that ensures the health, safety, and welfare of everyone impacted by our activities, including those in our supply chain. Our goal is to rigorously comply with all current safety, health, and welfare legislation and codes of practice.
In addition to fulfilling our statutory obligations, such as annual updates to the Safety Statement, providing training, and making site-specific risk assessments and MSDS sheets readily available, we actively promote a safe culture. This is achieved through monthly monitoring of training, accident and near-miss reporting, and regular toolbox talks across all company operations.
Unsung Heroes Award
The SOS Group Unsung Heroes award is presented monthly to exemplary employees from our operations team. Each manager nominates one individual from their department who has shown significant personal development and consistently displayed excellent customer service qualities.
These nominations are then reviewed and discussed at our monthly management meeting. Our heroes receive a certificate, a place on our Head Office Wall of Fame, and a well-deserved reward, such as a restaurant dinner for two, to show our appreciation.
Hear From an Employee
Cristiana celebrated her 10 Year Anniversary at SOS Group in 2024. Reflecting on her journey, Cristiana shared:
❝ SOS Group has always valued my dedication and skills, fostered my personal & professional development, and motivated me to continue my growth journey within the company.
I am privileged to work alongside wonderful, supportive colleagues who have become dear friends.❞
Diversity & Equality
At SOS Group, diversity and inclusion are not just priorities; they are essential to our growth. By embracing diverse abilities, we achieve mutual benefits, boosting employee confidence and performance.
Equality at SOS Group
SOS Group continuously tracks the representation of women in management and executive roles. We also work to increase female representation at all levels and divisions in our company.
Our Head Office team reflects our dedication, with 64% women and 36% men, chosen solely on merit. Our female leaders are experts in their fields, playing crucial roles in the success of SOS Group.
Diversity at SOS Group
Diversity and inclusion are core to SOS Group’s identity. We are committed to fostering a diverse workforce and creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels they belong and their voices are heard.
We actively support diversity across genders, ages, religions, races, ethnicities, cultures, orientations, languages, education levels, and abilities.
As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we value the unique talents and backgrounds of our team, with our Head Office alone representing over nine nationalities.

Supporting Our Community
Charity & Volunteering
SOS Group is actively involved in supporting local schools, charities, and community initiatives. You can often find our Head Office team preparing donations of food and other goodies, contributing to a better place for our furry friends at the Kildare Animal Foundation, or giving inspirational talks to the youth to schools such as Castlerea Community School.
We have also launched a fundraising campaign to support families affected by the war through GOAL Global Ukraine. SOS Group matched every Euro donated by our team, resulting in a total contribution of €4,000.
Community Cleanup
To contribute to our local community, in 2023, our team introduced our annual Clean Your Community Day, making our local area a cleaner space for all. We hope to continue this campaign as a yearly tradition at SOS Group.
Naas Camogie
SOS Group is a proud long-term sponsor of Naas Junior Camogie. This partnership underscores our commitment to supporting local communities and empowering young athletes to achieve excellence both on and off the field.
Project Inspire
Our award-winning initiative engages over 500 Irish students to drive sustainability action through small, achievable steps, promoting better waste management, energy efficiency, water conservation, and responsible travel to build a greener future.
By fostering more sustainable habits among students, families, and communities, Project Inspire delivers measurable environmental impact, strengthens partnerships with customer schools, enhances community engagement, and unites SOS Group staff and external partners around a shared commitment to long-term positive change.
